前言/Preface

　　迄今为止，人类对于身体已经有了不计其数的研究，但是仍然不可能掌握其全部秘密。身体也是艺术家为之不懈的表达母题，尤其在当代艺术那里，它被列为重要主题之一。在不少的视觉艺术作品中，身体是被作为一个象征符号，其隐藏着许多的社会与文化意涵，它通过与其他事物的关联来传达意义。
 

　　而此次展览集合了这样几位艺术家，他们的作品回到了身体与生命体本身的体验上。有的是神秘论式的介入，有的是严谨的科学研究，有的触及的是某种身体的极限，有的表达的是生命的无常与冷峻……当然，我这样说，并非是要脱离社会与文化语境来谈身体，而是探讨在身体被赋予太多外在因素的时代如何恢复其直觉和张力。我们也希望通过这些艺术家的作品启发观者对于身体和生命的多样化思维。
 

　　此次展览与音乐节同时开幕，音乐除了声音的旋律，还有身体的律动以及由此激发的澎湃的情绪；有关身体的艺术展览正好以另一种方式与其交相辉映：在激情和理性之中体味不同的生命况味。

So far, human beings have done numerous studies on body, but still could not know all its secrets. Body is also a motif of expression that artists are striving for, especially in contemporary art, it is listed as one of the important topics. In many visual art works, body is treated as a symbol, it contains a large amount of social and cultural connotation, and by the connection with other objects, the bodies which in the art works can convey the meaning.

This exhibition gathers several artists, whose works refocus on the experience of body and life itself. Some of the works are mysticism type of interventions, some arerigorous scientific researches, some are about the limitation of body, and other works express the impermanence and cruelty of life……of course, it doesn’t mean that I want to separate body from the social and cultural context when we talk about it, but rather to explore how to restore the body’s intuition and tension in the time when it is given too many external factors. And we also hope that these artists’ works can inspire the viewers’multidimensional thoughts about body and life.

The exhibition and music festival will launch at the same time, music has the melody of sound, and also has the movement of body and the strong emotions which are motivated by it; this body concerned art exhibition is just another way to enhance each other with the music festival: appreciate different life circumstances and sentiment in passion and rationality.
